Well--
Honestly, not much to report! The
adjustments to the area coming more and more with time. I sincerely love the people here. I am finding that love come faster and faster
with every area I move to.
We had a
member of the Stake Presidency come and speak in sacrament meeting and then
teach our 5th Sunday combined class and it was SO good. Maybe one of the best Sunday meetings I have
had on my mission. In sacrament Meeting it
was on being uncomfortable, and in the combined meeting it was on sacrifice and
letting our will align with Heavenly Fathers.
Miracles
are happening. We were able to have our
money and food last us perfectly until the end of the month, and we were able
to be blessed with an opportunity to knock on the door of a woman that said we
could come and teach her again. The sisters in our district were able to commit
a woman to be baptized and she accepted for a day in November. Lots of good
things.
I have been
amazed at the example of so many people in our ward who stay active and strong
even when their spouses are not interested in the gospel. That would be so
hard, and a large sacrifice, yet they are living what they know is right. It is really inspiring.
This past
week we didn't do anything out of the ordinary that I can think of. I’m just getting used to not having any
meetings to go to-- so we are filling our time finding people to teach and
teaching those that we have.
Donald is
still working and moving forward to be baptized this month! He was sick and wasn’t able to make it to
church. So hopefully he feels better
soon.
OH! We did
have a ward FHE (Family Home Evening). So we played some fun
games and had a lesson at the church. It
was fun and a good way to bond with the ward.
:) Love you!
