Just a word from Brooklyn.

'Hi'

Just kidding... there is more. Time is a little tight today. We tried to wake up early to do laundry at 6am, but slept in ‘til 6:30, so that made for a tight day, haha.  Laundry is always a beast.  We don’t dry it in the dryers to save like 10 bucks but it’s a lot of work to hang up to dry. I guess I just have to weigh time vs. money...

Alright.  The biggest news from here is, that Thursday is the day we get trained on how to use Facebook as a missionary.  So any time after Thursday we can use social media. I am excited to see the fruits that come from it. :)

I still love my district. Still just as hard working and still just as ready for whatever comes our way.

Next week I email on Tuesday because of Columbus Day and president interviews.  Just a heads.

CONFERENCE! Whaaaaaaaaaat!  Talk about inspiring.... there was so much to gain from it! I took tons of notes.  I am thankful for modern day revelation.  There is so much that we get to learn from.  What are everyone’s highlights?  I think my main highlight is how much I want to improve my studies- I felt an urgent need to further my studies and learn more from the scriptures :) the scriptures literally never get old. Read the same verse once a week- you'll learn something new each time. I’m so thankful for that!

We had a slow week with teaching people.  It’s hard to teach people when they don't respond. We pray, sometimes, that’s all we can do.

This week Sister Blosil and Sister Mcgrath went to the temple with a woman from Lynbrook that is no longer less active and is NOW endowed! :) They were invited and so Sister Cohen and I got permission to go on exchanges!

:) I may just send a letter home. Things are going well- I am realizing more of my spiritual gifts that have not occurred to me before.  I am grateful for that!  The Lord has been helping us so much.

Today’s email stinks.  Sorry it is so short.  Another email coming next week on Tuesday!
